Through the centuries, in many cultures, the trumpet has been a ceremonial instrument. From courtly announcements, to military fanfares and Baroque embellishments, the trumpet adds a majestic tone to any event.

Trumpet can play all by itself, and I certainly have done that for several weddings, but it is a more complete sound when combined with other instruments. Much music has been written for trumpet with organ. If you are planning a wedding at your church, I would probably be working with their resident organist. If you are planning an outdoor wedding, and no organ or piano will be available, but you would like live music, how about a brass quintet? I can arrange one for you.
Fee for a wedding ceremony in the San Diego area would fall in the range of $150-$250.
